  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Management System, or other appropriate specialist discipline. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least three (3) years working experience in the information technology or in other relevant field.

  • Proven ability for accuracy under pressure and adherence to deadlines.

Technical Officer AGEP


  • A Bachelor’s degree in one of these areas: energy engineering, electrical engineering, environmental, energy policy, energy planning, energy economics or relevant disciplines appropriate to the technical, financial and organizational management of the Project. Master’s in related field and knowledge of Energy Management System is an advantage.
  • Highly knowledgeable on RE and EE&C matters, agencies and ministries of Southeast Asia countries as well as in-depth knowledge in regional energy cooperation, development and/or implementation.
  • Highly-motivated individual with the ability to take the initiative, work independently and collaborate with others to produce high-quality reports, articles and presentations in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work well with experts, engineers, technicians, editors, consultants and at the same time be able to network with officials of the ASEAN Member Countries, Dialogue Partners and International Organizations.
  • Good working knowledge with information and communication technology.
  • Knowledge of ACE and ASEAN Member Countries is an advantage.
  • Capacity to assess the likely positive/negative impacts of project activities.
  • Fluent in English speaking and excellent in report writing.

  • Interest in the field of ACE’s work, particularly the APAEC 2016-2025’s 7 (seven) Programme Areas; ASEAN Power Grid, Trans-ASEAN Gas Pipeline, Coal and Clean Coal Technology, Energy Efficiency and Conservation, Renewable Energy, Regional Energy Policy and Planning, and Civilian Nuclear Energy.
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor or Master degree programme, e.g. engineering, energy studies, international relations, communications.
  • Basic knowledge on general computer software (i.e. MS Office).
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and to adapt to an international working environment.
Research Fellowships
