Some Lessons Learnt from Proposals, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Submission

• Follow correct Guidelines and Forms for Applicants strictly
  
• Do not change/erase any part of Application or Budget Forms if not requested
  
• Fill out budget and sources of funding strictly and precisely as per instructions - and as per General Conditions
  
• Address the right facility and sector
  
• Attach Statutes/Articles of Association, Annual Reports and Accounts as requested
  
• Be strict on signatures by all partners in Partnership Statements
  
• Follow packaging and delivery instructions as well strictly
  
• 14 out of 49 proposals rejected for administrative reasons,15 after relevance assessment, 3 after EC AidCo endorsement and 2 at contracting phase of the 1 st Submission in 2003, thus 15 contracted by October 2003
  
• 2 nd CfP: 7 rejected out of 32 proposals after admin check, 9 rejected in SC evaluation and EC endorsement process, thus 16 remained for contracting at 13 February 2004
  
• 3 rd CfP: 49 proposals, 16 rejected after admin checks, 20 recommended for EU endorsement, which took place by letter, dated 17 November 2004
