Summary
Developed by the USAID Southeast Asia Smart Power Program (SPP) with the support of ACE and the ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE), this booklet showcases the achievements of the MLP 1.0: Capacity Building on Methane Emissions Management, and introduces its successor—MLP 2.0: Turning Capacity into Action. This second phase emphasises more concrete methane reduction projects that address regulatory, financial, and technological challenges. MLP, as an ASEAN-driven initiative, has united key national oil & gas (O&G) companies in ASEAN and international stakeholders to collectively tackle the regional methane emissions.
